GPRC5D scFv-CD3ζ (1st) CAR Expression Plasmid Vector Item No.: PCAR-211Shipping: 2 μg Storage: -20°C INTRODUCTION Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) are recombinant receptors that are composed of four regions: an antigen recognition domain (ectodomain), a hinge region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular T cell signaling domain (endodomain). CAR-T cell therapy uses T cells engineered with CARs to target specific antigen(s) for cancer immunotherapy. Human GPRC5D (G Protein-Coupled Receptor Class C Group 5 Member D) is a transmembrane orphan receptor encoded by the GPRC5D gene on human chromosome 12. Under physiological conditions, it is restrictedly expressed in hair follicles and normal plasma cells, but is highly and specifically overexpressed in multiple myeloma (MM) cells. It promotes the proliferation and survival of malignant plasma cells and is closely associated with disease progression. Importantly, GPRC5D expression is independent of BCMA, making it a promising target for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. GPRC5D-targeted CAR-T therapy has become a novel and effective immunotherapy, especially for patients resistant to BCMA-targeted treatments. RGBiotech offers GPRC5D scFv-CD3ζ (1st) CAR Expression Plasmid Vector to assist CAR-T research. This vector contains a first (1st) generation of GPRC5D CAR that consists of four major components: 1) anti-GPRC5D scFv as an extracellular antigen-binding domain, 2) a hinge region, 3) a transmembrane domain, and 4) CD3ζ (CDzeta, CD247) intracellular signaling domain.
